Tenancies commenced between 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2021

  • Ceiling and underfloor insulation is mandatory to all Kaiwharawhara and New Zealand rental houses where it’s reasonably practicable to install.
  • A Healthy Homes Intent to Comply Statement An Insulation Statement as well as an Insurance Statement should be included in any renewed, new or altered tenancy contract.
  • Property managers and landlords must keep records of their conformance with the Healthy Homes Standard that apply or will be in force during the tenure of your rental home.
