Fines for Failing to Comply

Since the 1st July of 2021, when a brand new, renewed or varied contract is signed on a Johnsonville rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance work have to be completed within 90 days.

Tenancies that were signed between 1 July 2019 to 30 , June 20,21

  • Underfloor and ceiling insulation is compulsory for all Johnsonville and New Zealand rental houses where it’s reasonably practicable to install.
