Fines for Failing to Comply

From the 1st of July in 2021, when a new or renewed tenancy is signed on a Crofton Downs rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance tasks need to be completed within 90 days.

Tenancies that were signed in the period between July 1st 2019 and 30 June 2021

  • Underfloor and ceiling insulation is compulsory throughout Crofton Downs and New Zealand rental homes where it’s reasonably practicable to install.
