Fines for Failing to Comply

As of 1st July 2021, when a new, renewed or varied tenancy is signed on a Breaker Bay rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance tasks must be taken care of within 90 days.

Tenancies established from 1 July 2019 to the 30th June in 2021

  • Underfloor and ceiling insulation is mandatory in all Breaker Bay and New Zealand rental homes where it is reasonably practicable to install.
